Ok so,

many of you have asked me not to clise this thing off. So many in fact that I had no idea were actually reading this. So thank you especially to Drew in Michigan, Dong of course and also Pam in South Carolina! Why do you people read my blog is a mistery to me.

Anyway I have just come back from Seattle - I was there on business and I turned my attention to a new American phenomenon - unemployment. The real deal - so many people I meet are worried or have been given the pink slip. It's tough and certainly ain't pretty. Everyone at the conference was freaking out and I was suprised as to how a conference that should be about the future, was very much rooted in the present.

It's been pretty painful up until now but I have decided to start dating, so I think I will say yes to Cal who has been particularly persistent. He is a very very good looking guy (talk about being shallow) - 6.3 super fit, blond hair, you know the kind of guy I like...A nice guy - Scandinavian origins brought up in Rhode Island by an Italian stepfather and he likes to cook. He has cooked for me an amazing pork roast and we have had a bottle of wine from the same winery I went to in Oregon. I can hear you say - but you have already started dating him then? Nope. I just had dinner with him and that was it.

Next chapter once I have worked out if I really really want to date him...I will let you know at some point next week.
